The hot temperature during daytime is likely to continue through the weekend and the temperatures might go up to mid- 40s in the central areas.
The Met department also forecasted strong winds, dust and low visibility from Sunday night to Tuesday. People are warned against venturing into the sea during this period. The weather charts indicated strong northwesterly winds with speeds ranging from 15-25 knots and gusts reaching 30 knots at times.
The windy conditions will obviously increase the dust level that leads to decrease in visibility. Today’s forecast show hazy conditions in some places in the early hours followed by hot daytime and slight dust.
Mesaieed and Wakrah is expected to experience the maximum temperature of 42C followed by Doha and Al Khor with 41C.
