Beauty Queen Shot Dead By Gunmen Who Gave Her Flowers And Chocolates

A former Bulacan beauty queen was shot dead by two assassins who delivered a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates to her house on Wednesday, April 5.

Mary Christine Balagtas, a former ‘Lakambini ng Bulacan’, won the title in 2009.

The 23-year-old was shot in the head shortly after she received flowers and chocolates from the gunmen, who fled the scene in a motorcycle.

Balagtas was immediately rushed to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in the town of Pulilan but was declared dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, friends of the victim has taken to social media to express their grief over the death of Balagtas.
