The internet is going mad about a new viral video that claims to be an interview with a time traveler.
In the video, a man identified only as “Noah” has his face and voice cloaked.
Noah agrees to take a lie detector test while answering questions about the year 2030, when he claims he travelled back in time.
The stealthy figure makes a number of strange predictions about the next 12 years that have viewers wondering if he’s telling the truth:
- Noah says that President Donald Trump will be re-elected in 2020.
- He also reveals that the president in 2030 is a woman named Illana Remikee.
- Noah says technology like smart homes, Google Glass, electric cars, and bitcoin will all be common in the future.
- He also says some diseases, including types of cancers, will be cured.
- Finally, Noah says that humans will walk on Mars in 2028.
The video was shared by the YouTube channel ApexTV, which also released long interviews with Noah.
The channel describes itself as “one of the biggest voices of paranormal content on YouTube.”
But some viewers are disapproving the video, and pointed out a number of uncertain facts.
For one thing, Noah’s identity and appearance have been controversial.
While he appears to be a young man in his teens or early twenties, Noah says he’s much older.
He claims that he’s actually a 50-year-old man suffering from anorexia, who took appearance-rejuvenating drugs in the future.
Viewers have also criticized the “lie detector” on display in the video. Some have suggested Noah’s arm band isn’t fitted properly, or even hooked up to a machine.
The lie detector machine itself is also not shown on video, and the interview looks like it’s being conducted in a local library.
While there are many explanations for the contradictions in the video, you have to wonder why this supposed time traveller is wearing a current day Minnesota Golden Gophers football t-shirt.
But maybe he just borrowed it from one of his interviewers.
