Woman Sets Blaze House She Lost In Divorce, Fire Spreads To 19 Other Homes

According to the police, a woman torched the home she lost in a divorce and ended up burning 19 neighbors’ homes on the same street.

41-year-old, Adrienne Satterly, allegedly piled matresses on the floor of her old marital home in Atlanta, Ga, before setting them alight.

While setting the blaze when it was dark in the early hours of Sunday, it spread to neighboring homes, forcing residents to flee.

In the dramatic video footage, it can be seen a row of homes completely consumed by flames, with four houses totally destroyed by fire.

It caused an estimated $1million of damage to those properties and 16 others, with two dogs and a cat killed in the inferno.

Neighbor Yolanda Woodland, whose dogs were killed told Fox News: ‘The house next door, the whole thing was already engulfed in flames, our living room and kitchen was already on fire.

“Within two minutes, the house was engulfed in flames. I mean it went really quick.’

Another neighbor called Shemiah Hedgebeth told WSB-TV: ‘It’s just senseless and it’s sad. And it’s hateful, just hateful.’

Satterly called 911 after walking to a local Wal Mart and asked the dispatcher to send a car to come and pick her up.

She did not mention the fire.

The Red Cross has provided assistance for those affected by the blaze, and Deputy fire commissioner Jay Florence accused Satterly of committing ‘a heinous act.’
