According to senior radio host Nisar Ahmed Ansari, Qatar has always taken a strong stance against organised crime and terrorism.
Speaking at live radio show ‘Haqeeqat’, he said: “Qatar’s role in combating terrorism is highly appreciated worldwide. The US, UK, European Union and Nato have all praised the efforts and measures Qatar has taken against terrorism,” Ansari said, adding that Qatar is a key partner in the anti-terror fight.
“Qatar most recently signed a security agreement with Nato in Brussels. The pact provides the framework for the protection of exchange of classified information, as defined by all 29 member countries,” Ansari informed listeners of the show.
The illegal and unjust siege of Qatar has gone on for more than 225 days (since June 5 last year) and “what we have seen from the blockading countries over the last months is baseless accusations against Qatar that have zero proof”, host Saif-ur-Rehman said while giving an overview of events since the start of the siege.
