Rich Man In Saudi Arabia Organises Mass Marriage Ceremony For 2000 Couples

Wealth with a good heart is a rare combination and when it comes together the result will just be astonishing. An example of such a thing was seen in Saudi Arabia where a person donated 9 million Saudi Riyal in charity to carry out a mass wedding.

The charity helped 2000 couples to get married in a ceremony, such weddings and charitable act by a Saudi are more than a blessing.

Sheikh Mousa Khami, chairman of the committee of mass weddings in the city of Jazan said that a generous donor made a massive donation.

The committee stated the money would be used for the prosperity of the couples, and a decision was taken to transfer the amount of 10,000 Saudi Riyal to the accounts of each couple. The amount would be given to both registered and also to those couples who are on the waiting list.

The contribution will help the couples who got married in the mass wedding ceremony. The wedding of the couples was held with the backing of the Emir of Jazan.

The committee also said that nearly 12.5 million Saudi Riyal have been spent for mass marriages of over 12 thousand young couples.
