Qatar Enters Into Guinness Book Of World Records

Though Qatar is under an embargo by four Arab states, people in the country are not letting go the small joys and moments as they continue to march ahead with new goals.

The talented youth program Sky Climbers decided to have the world’s longest selfie stick. Their 18m-long stick was used to take a selfie at the program’s 2017 graduation ceremony at the National Convention Center on Sept 19.

In the process, they smashed the previous world record of 16m set by UAE just five months ago.

The program provides training and support for above 16s with the help of experts in the related field. The organisation also has agreements with companies to offer jobs, internships and opportunities to the participants.
