According to reports, at least four expatriates were killed in a road accident in northern Doha on Saturday. The deaths occurred when two vehicles, one of them an SUV, were involved in a collision about 1km north of Duhail Petrol station.
It is being said that at least three of the people were killed on the spot, while two of them were severely injured. One of them later died in hospital. The bodies have been kept at Hamad Hospital mortuary.
Two of the dead were identified as Bangladeshi nationals Faisal Ahmed, 28, and Maksood Bux. Another victim was believed to be a Sri Lankan, the identities of others are yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, a social worker of the Indian expatriate community informed that there were five deaths with both the injured men dying in hospital on Sunday.
