Qatar Boosted With The Return Of Senegal’s Envoy To Doha

As a result of blockade on Qatar which began on June 5 by the four Arab states, many other nations, including Senegal had recalled their ambassadors from Qatar.

However, in a great turn of events, Senegal has decided to send back its envoy to Doha, the move came after HH Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a telephone conversation with Senegalese president Macky Sall.

The two leaders spoke about the means to improve bilateral relations and boosting it in various fields.

“Senegal has decided to send its ambassador to Doha back to Qatar,” tweeted Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi, Director of the Information Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Senegal

Senegal said it encourages the initiatives that aimed at resolving the ongoing dispute between Qatar and the Saudi-led bloc.
