Saudi King Salman welcomed Qatari Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Jassem Al Thani at his guest residence in the Moroccan city of Tangier and discussed about the opening of Salwa border crossing for Qatari pilgrims.
King Salman asserted that his country always intends to provide the best and finest Hajj experience to pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and comfort.
Meanwhile, Qatari Sheikh Al Thani appreciated and thanked the King for accepting to open the border and allowing Qataris to carry out their pilgrimage.
Al Thani pointed that the King’s order to facilitate Qatari pilgrims Hajj proceeders confirms the deep fraternity and historical ties linking the Saudi and Qatari peoples as well as the leadership of the two countries.
King Salman instructed all Qatari pilgrims be transported from King Fahd International airport in Dammam and Ehsa international airport. He also ordered Saudi Arabian Airlines to carry Qatari pilgrims from Doha to the city of Jeddah at his own expense.
