Qatar’s FM Visits Kuwait Amid Crisis

Qatari Foreign Minister H E Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani landed in Kuwait for an unscheduled visit amid Gulf crisis.

The minister met Kuwait’s Emir H H Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah to convey Qatar’s Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s message about bilateral relations and latest regional and international developments.

Earlier, Sheikh Sabah had sent his messages to the four blockading nations in a bid to end the crisis.

The four nations severed ties with Qatar on June 5 after accusing it of supporting terrorism, however, the allegation was denied by Qatar.
