Qatar, Jordon And Taiwan To Receive $133Mln Worth Of Javelin Anti-Tank Misslies

The US Department of Defense informed in a press release, that Raytheon and Lockheed Martin have been granted a Javelin Anti-Tank Missiles contract of $133 million to provide Javelin man-carried anti-tank missiles to Jordon, Qatar and Taiwan.

“Raytheon/Lockheed Martin Javelin JV [Joint Venture of] Tucson, Arizona has been awarded a $133,910,119… foreign military sales (Jordan, Qatar, Taiwan) contract to procure Javelin containerized all-up rounds [and] command launch units,” the release said on Tuesday.

The two companies will also be providing Javelin vehicle launcher-electronics and associated non-recurring engineering over the next three years, with an estimated completion date of August 31, 2020.

The FGM-148 Javelin is a US-manufactured man-portable anti-tank missile, according to published reports.
