Dr Ali bin Smaikh al Marri, Chairman of NHRC (National Human Rights Commission) said that the countries like UAE and Saudi were not safe for investment, as it was evident in huge number of violations committed against Qatari companies and property owners.
Around 320 property violations have been committed by UAE since the siege began, Marri informed. He added that no country had the right to threaten the interests of individuals, close down companies, confiscate properties, prevent money transfers and lay off workers on the grounds of political differences.
Meanwhile, the number of violations regarding right to property in Saudi Arabia was around 596, in which most of them were related to the Qataris.
He told that sanctions imposed on Qatar by the Saudi-led bloc itself was a clear violation of human rights and international conventions and treaties.
