1. Whiten Teeth

The main culprits behind yellowing of teeth are wine, smoking, tea, and coffee. Treatments of teeth whitening can be expensive. Using lemon and salt, you can get rid of the stains and give you a flashing smile.

Lemon is a natural bleaching agent and can help to whiten teeth and remove the stains on your teeth.


  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons of lemon juice


  • Make a paste using the salt and lemon juice.
  • Use this paste to brush your teeth gently.
  • Leave it on for a few minutes and rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Repeat this process twice a week for a positive result.

Use only 2 times a week as the citric acid in lemon juice can harm your teeth and make the teeth more yellow, as the enamel erodes.
