Mother Accused Of Transporting $2-Million Liquid Crystal Methamphetamine

A woman has been arrested for carrying 75-pounds of liquid crystal methamphetamine worth approximately $2-M.

Seline Lizbeth Ayala, 23 years old from Laredo was arrested last July 12.

While patrolling Ayala was pulled over by Criminal Interdiction officers near 5400 block of N. IH-35 for over speeding. She was driving a Dodge Avenger with two other people including her 4-year-old daughter.

While interrogating her the officers got suspicious and called on a K-9 to search the vehicle.

While searching they discovered the liquid crystal methamphetamine hidden inside a large white “Purple Power” degreaser jugs worth $2-M in street value.

The police arrested her and she confessed that this was not the first time she transported drugs. She told the police that in June, an unidentified man allegedly asked her to transport crystal meth from Laredo to Dallas and was paid upon her return.

She was now charged with federal drug trafficking.

Some social media post claimed Ayala is a Filipino-American, but the Austin Police Department described her as Hispanic.
