Qatar Red Crescent Soceity (QRCS) and Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations have signed MoU to continue their support to Niger farmers. According to the agreement the agricultural activities will be enhanced by providing farmers in deprived areas with improved seeds, guidance and technical support.
Vegetable seeds will be distributed to 193 towns covering 14 municipalities. It includes cabbage, lettuce, carrot, tomato and corn. A course was held for agricultural technicians and volunteers.
