In order to prevent the occurrence of any untoward incident, the security department of the Ministry of Interior have been ordered to remain on high-alert 24×7. All places of interest that witness crowds in large numbers have been secured in view of Eid al Fitr celebrations.
All units of the Security Department, including Capital Police Station, MadinatKhalifa Police Station, Al Sadd Police Station and Mesaimeer Police Station, have been asked to stay alert and make sure all necessary services of assistance and security are available to the citizens, Director of Capital Security Department Brigadier Nasser Jaber al Nuaimi stated.
All the necessary measures to secure the roads, residential neighbourhoods and to prevent any unpleasant incidents have been put in place and frequent patrols will make sure that traffic moves smoothly, the Director of Dukhan Security Department Brigadier Abdul HadiDhafir al-Ahbab said.
Brigadier Muhammad Jassim al Sulaiti, Director of South Security said, ‘Keeping in view the popularity of the South among families and youngsters, we have strengthened our deployments and patrols to make sure everything is in order’. Brigadier al Sulaiti also insisted upon motorists to drive with caution in order to avoid accidents.
Mohammed Abdullah al Shahwani who heads the North Security Department stated, “The department is ready in every aspect of security and will make sure that the residents celebrate Eid al Fitr in a peace and tranquillity”.
Director of Al Rayan Security Department Brig. Mohammed Saif al Nuaimi warned the residents of Industrial area to be alert while crossing the streets to avoid any chances of accidents.
